Hands on application of electronic banking concepts and financial institution characteristics is achieved through a debit card simulation. Students will record various transactions, balance a checking account and strengthen their knowledge of the electronic banking industry.

In this HSFPP lesson, student learn how to use and reconcile a checking account. Along the way they discuss reasons to use check payments, demonstrate how to manage a checking account, and explain how to reconcile a checking account.
